Here are a couple pictures of this really gorgeous bike. It is

National and the trunk is a German after-market item.
Other than that, it's a stock bike. |
In the summer of 1995 I went up to Wisconsin Dells for a rally
of BMW people. It was not big, as such rallies go, about 1400
bikes, and not all of them BMWs, but it was an easy-going
crowd, and I adapt well to doing almost nothing except walking
around and gawking at things.
I rode a fair amount in the summer of 1996, mostly near
Madison, but almost every day that the weather permitted. In
years immediately following I rode less, but now that I'm
retired I look forward to every spring to getting on and going
after another of Wisconsin's long winters.
